Mock Parliament

Topic: Redefining the basis for reservation to ensure balance, equity and inclusiveness in areas of health, education and employment opportunities
The Mock Parliament was conducted by Class X Students on 15th October 2015 at school amphitheater to commemorate 125th birth anniversary of the Father of the Constitution Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar. About 20 students participated in the programme. This year the main agenda of the Mock Parliament was the discussion on to redefine the basis for reservation to ensure balance, equity and inclusiveness in areas of health, education and employment opportunities.
Students came immaculately dressed as parliamentarians exhibiting knowledge about the benefits and concerns about reservations. They debated in detail about the pros and cons of reservations. They presented their views through debating skills and witty couplets, with great confidence and zeal. Students of class X along with their teachers also witnessed the programme.

 Mrs. Mukul Jha, the Principal congratulated the participants for their brilliant performance and urged them all to pledge for working for the well being of the nation. She also talked to the audience and asked them how reservations affect them as students and should we have reservation. She also asked them to give suggestions on what they as a citizen of country could do to bring equality in the country.
